    This class is aimed at introducing you to the basics of rowing. Whether you are looking to get fit, have fun or enjoy the beautiful Fox River, this is exactly the class that you’re looking for. Classes meet at the Telulah Park river access. The Fox Valley Rowing Club provides instruction and equipment. Participants are invited to participate in a novice scrimmage for National Learn to Row Day on Saturday, June 3rd beginning at 7:30 a.m.! FEE: $75 for the Monday and Wednesday class, $65 for the Weekend class.

You will discuss key terms, buttons and settings on your camera, and what to use in different situations along with learning about depth of field when shooting, how to download, edit, and store your images. Choose from three skill levels, and your choice of one night per week, or two nights per week! Beginner participants will be introduced to the fundamental skills needed to play and enjoy the game. Intermediate/Advanced participants should have at least one year of formal lessons and will work on the development of their ground strokes, volleys, serves and game play strategy.

    314703 - Adult Tennis Leagues

    Enjoy friendly competition and an opportunity to socialize with other tennis enthusiasts in our adult tennis leagues! Participants will play one match per week, and a minimum of 7 matches. Both singles and doubles formats are available. All participants must be at least 18 years old and have exhausted their high school eligibility, per WIAA guidelines. A variety of skill levels available, from novice (beginner) through advanced (competitive). Awards are given to 1st place winners in each league at the conclusion of the season.
    Must follow the match schedule for the day, time & location.

    This is the class you have been waiting for! The Kayak Skills class emphasizes safety, enjoyment and skill acquisition for all entry level participants. Learn about basic kayak maneuvers, outfitting your boat to fit your needs and basic safety principles. Upon completion of this class, there will be an optional outing on the Fox River so you can put your skills to use immediately. Instruction is taught by members of the Northeast Wisconsin Paddlers. Kayaks will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own to class.

    Youth ages 10-15 MUST register with a parent.

    June 13 - Kids and Stepping Stones Workshop
    Looking for the perfect gift for Father's Day? This is a great opportunity for an adult to bring a child to create a unique, one of a kind stepping stone or two to take home! If you have them, bring any memorabilia like shells, stones, glass beads, leaves, etc. All other supplies will be provided. Wear appropriate clothing and be prepared to get creative! To take your treasure home, bring a cookie sheet or box to carry home the stones.

    June 20 - "Bringing It Home: Garden Landscape Ideas from Europe and America"
    Come to this presentation that explains how plants and good design can bring creativity, peace and happiness into your life. Steve will share ideas from his travels that he has personally adapted into his own Appleton garden. You are sure to find an idea or two that will inspire you to take your garden to the next level! Steve will be available after the presentation to answer any garden design questions.

    July 11 - Colorful Cement Leaves Workshop
    At this workshop you will explore the process of creating a beautiful cement leaf for your outdoors garden or for your indoor home décor. Steve has been making these leaves for about 8 years and shows and sells his leaves at various garden craft shows. He will provide all materials so you will be able to create your own treasure. Leaves will need to cure but will be ready for pickup at the end of the week. Instruction will be given on how to add your own color and personality to your leaf once you bring it home. Bring rubber gloves to protect your hands and wear appropriate clothing.
