Sky Zone Teams With Local Law Enforcement to Ticket Youth
Law enforcement agencies from the Fox Valley to Green Bay are going to be ticketing more youth; with the assistance of Sky Zone.
Sky Zone of Appleton has developed a stewardship around law enforcement and children. With the launch of the “SkyTation” program, Sky Zone is helping to bring local law enforcement agencies and youth together. Many law enforcement agencies in the Fox Valley and Green Bay area will be handing out “SkyTations” to youth who have been involved in positive activities or displayed positive behavior in their community.
Officers from participating agencies may give out “SkyTations”, good for 30 minutes of free jumping at Sky Zone, to youth wearing safety equipment while biking or skateboarding. “SkyTations” can also be given to kids volunteering around the involved communities or learning more about departments through field trips and classroom visits.
Agencies involved in this partnership currently include: Appleton Police Department, Ashwaubenon Public Safety, Fox Crossing Police Department, Fox Valley Metro Police Department, Grand Chute Police Department, Green Bay Police Department, Kaukauna Police Department, Menasha Police Department, Neenah Police Department and the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department.
The official launch occurs at 11 AM this morning with a media conference being held at the Sky Zone – Appleton (3169 Van Roy Road, Appleton).
