On January 7, 2016, at 2:25 PM, the Appleton Police Department received a report of an armed robbery occurring inside a business in the 2000 block of N. Richmond Street. Multiple officers responded to the area to search for the suspect, who fled on foot.

A male, of an undetermined age and race, robbed the business while displaying a handgun. The suspect was described as being approximately 6’3” to 6’4” in height with a medium build.  He was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and dark sunglasses at the time of the robbery.

Investigators from the Appleton Police Department are working with other local authorities to determine if there is a connection between this and other recent business robberies.  A track conducted by an Appleton Police Department K9 did not result in the immediate location of the suspect.
