Appleton Police Receive UTV Through Kwik Trip Grant
The Appleton Police Department is the grateful recipient of a generous grant from Kwik Trip, Incorporated. Through an application process, the Appleton Police Department was awarded a donation from Kwik Trip, making the purchase of a 2015 Polaris Ranger ETX possible. A brief ceremony, with exchange of the UTV (utility task vehicle) keys, was held this morning at the Kwik Trip Store at 208 N. Richmond Street.
At the ceremony, Doug Pollesch, District Leader for Kwik Trip, along with local store representatives met with Chief Todd Thomas and Sergeant Keith Bredael, Special Events Coordinator for the Appleton Police Department.
Our UTV, decked out with emergency lighting, siren, public address system and full color graphics, will be utilized for the first time at the 45th Annual Downtown Christmas Parade. It will be a fixture for years to come at all large community events.
The Appleton Police Department thanks Kwik Trip for their commitment to the community.
