New online engagement platform launched
Polco is an online polling platform for resident feedback
Seeking a broader cross-section of public sentiment to help drive decision-making, we’re excited to announce the launch of Polco, an innovative engagement platform where residents can participate via online polling.
The Polco platform will provide City staff and Common Council members with insightful, reliable data to drive decisions. By funding this program in the 2018 budget, Mayor Hanna and the Common Council are making a statement to the community that civic engagement is important and the City values the community’s opinions. The addition of the Polco platform is the next step in our plan to continue improving our communication outreach with the community to share, but just as importantly, receive information from our residents.
“We know people care and what we’re doing with this platform is making participation that much easier for them,” said Mayor Tim Hanna. “Better feedback leads to better outcomes and chances to improve our community.”
Residents can sign up for the free service by visiting www.polco.us/appleton and creating an account. You'll receive a confirmation email to validate your account. The platform is available via a link on our website, through our social media platforms and the Polco mobile app.
