Police Investigating Robbery On City’s North Side

An investigation into the overnight armed robbery of a north side convenience store is continuing.

On March 24, 2017, at 2:16 AM, Appleton Police Department officers responded to the report of an armed robbery occurring inside a business in the 3400 block of N. Richmond Street. A search of the area did not immediately result in location of a suspect.

According to the victim, a male black, who appeared to be in his late teens or early 20’s, robbed the business while displaying a handgun. The suspect was described as being approximately 6 foot tall with a slender build.  He was dressed in dark clothing. 

No injuries occurred as a result of the incident.  Investigators are continuing to collect evidence and follow-up on information learned during the initial stage of the investigation.
