Information Sought in Recent Trailer Thefts (posted February 28, 2012)
On February 26, 2012, between the hours of 7:30 pm and 12:00 am, the Appleton Police Department took a report of three stolen trailers from local business parking lots in the 1800 Blk E Wisconsin Ave. The trailers are described as:
1998 Classic 20 foot Tandem Axel Flatbed Trailer, Black.
2002 Timberwolf 24 foot Tandem Axel Cargo Trailer, Black and Silver.
1997 Wells Cargo 14 foot Tandem Axel Cargo Trailer, Grey.
We have video of a suspect vehicle, described as a Chevrolet 4-door white pick-up truck with chrome step bars, pulling these trailers from the scene. We are asking for assistance from the community in trying to identify the vehicle and owner.
