Appleton Police Department Building Dedication and Open House (posted July 13, 2010)
The City of Appleton and the Appleton Police Department are pleased to announce that a two year renovation and building addition project at the Appleton Police Department building was completed earlier this month.
On Saturday July 17th, 2010, there will be a building dedication followed by an open house/station tours.
Events begin at 9:00 AM starting with the building dedication honoring David Gorski, former Police Chief of the Appleton Police Department. After a ribbon cutting by members of the Gorski family the building will officially be named the David L. Gorski Memorial Building.
From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, there will be an open house which includes guided tours of the renovated building as well as numerous events and displays.
The public is welcomed to attend both events. Parking will be permitted in the Outagamie County parking lot, south of the police building.
