Both sites accept grass clippings, brush, yard waste, and motor oil. Site attendants are available for questions.
The Municipal Service Building yard waste site is a full customer service center and is available to all City of Appleton residents (non commercial use only). In addition to the above, antifreeze, metal, appliances, tires, car batteries, and refuse can be brought to the Glendale Avenue site during operating hours. See the site attendant before dropping off any of the above-mentioned items. Please tarp or secure loads taken to the yard waste sties. Branches and debris that fall onto the road are a safety hazard.
The yard waste sites DO NOT accept electronics, shingles, concrete, dirt, sod, propane tanks or hazardous waste.
Please be prepared to show proof of residency to the attendant. Residential waste only - No debris accepted from contractors.
Both sites are closed on City-observed holidays.
