Valley Transit offers 50¢ Rides To and From

The Appleton Christmas Parade

November 17, 2006

 

Valley Transit is offering 50¢ rides beginning at 3:45 PM on Tuesday, November 21 to travel to and from the Appleton Christmas Parade, and the 50¢ fare will continue through the end of the evening. Buses will not operate during the parade, which starts at 6:30 PM, as many downtown streets are blocked off during that time. Service will resume operation after the parade, at approximately 7:45 p.m. and continue operating until about 10:30 PM, as scheduled. Routes scheduled to depart from the Transit Center at 5:15 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. will depart as scheduled.  Service will resume operation after the parade.

Passengers are also reminded that Valley Transit and Valley Transit II service will not operate on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23. Both services will resume normal schedules on Friday, November 24.  Valley Transit II service is currently under contract to Kobussen Buses, Ltd.
