Valley Transit Service Disrupted During Flag Day Parade

June 6, 2006

Due to street closures for the annual Appleton Flag Day Parade, Valley Transit will not operate services with destinations arriving/departing the Transit Center during the parade on Saturday, June 10.  Passengers wishing to ride the buses downtown should catch the bus before 1:00 p.m.  The buses will run on the regular Saturday schedule before 1:15 PM and will resume after 4:15 PM with the exception of Routes 11 and 15 which will depart the Transit Center at 1:15 PM. Service on Route 41-West Fox Valley and on Routes 31/32-Inner Neenah will not be disrupted during the parade.

Valley Transit serves the many communities of the Fox Cities, providing safe, reliable, and convenient public transportation. Specialized transportation is also provided under the Americans with Disabilities Act by Valley Transit II, for people who are unable to use the fixed route buses.
