VALLEY TRANSIT: News Releases

Unlimited Summer Youth Rides For Less Than A Tank of Gas!

May 12, 2006

Valley Transit’s Freedom Pass entitles riders aged 5 through 18 to unlimited rides from June 1 through August 31. The pass costs $35 per person. Freedom Passes are valid on all Valley Transit fixed route buses and the Call-A-Ride service serving the Towns of Buchanan, Darboy, and Harrison.

“With gas prices at an all time high, it makes more sense than ever for kids to give Valley Transit a try this summer,” says Valley Transit General Manager Chuck Kamp. “And for just $35, Freedom Pass can give families a real break on their transportation budgets.”

Freedom Passes are available for sale at all Valley Transit Ticket Outlets, at Valley Transit’s Administrative office, and by mail from Valley Transit, 801 S. Whitman Ave., Appleton, WI 54914.

Valley Transit operates sixteen regular fixed route buses serving most area parks, pools, libraries and shopping centers. Individuals wishing more information are encouraged to call the Valley Transit offices at 832-5800 or visit us on-line at www.appleton.org/vt
