New
Transit Service Available between Fox Cities and Chilton

New
Hope Center in Chilton, Wisconsin now offers a public transportation
option for people traveling between the Fox Cities and Chilton in
Calumet County. The New Hope Center van will meet passengers twice a
day at the new Goodwill location in Darboy where passengers will be
able to make connections to and from Valley Transits Route 9
E. College bus route.
The
van will depart from New Hope Center, 443 Manhattan St, Chilton at
6:00 AM Monday through Friday arriving at the Goodwill in Darboy at
approximately 6:45 AM. It will return to Chilton immediately upon
loading passengers arriving back at New Hope Center at 7:45 AM. The
van will return to the Fox Cities in the afternoon, departing from
Chilton at 3:30 PM arriving at the Goodwill Darboy location at 4:45.
It will return to Chilton at 5:00 PM.
The
cost will be just $4.00 one way with free transfers to and from the
Valley Transit bus route. Passengers making transfers from Route 9
E. College will need to take the 6:15 AM trip from downtown
Appleton in order to make the connection with the New Hope van
between 6:30 and 6:45AM. Passengers are asked to schedule their
trips 24 hours in advance to guarantee space. Please call New Hope

Route
9 E. College now serves the new Goodwill Darboy location hourly
at :29 minutes after every hour and also at 6:59 and 7:59 AM and
2:59, 3:59 and 4:59 PM Monday through Friday.
