Rack-N-Roll Service (Bus-Bike racks)

Bus-Bike racks will be operational and ready for use on all fixed routes on June 5, 2006.

How to use the Bus-Bike Racks All individuals must be trained and certified on the operation of the bus-bike racks before being allowed use of the bus-bike rack system.  Cost of certification is $2.00.

Certification Process:

Schedule an appointment:  Walk-in appointments are available weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Valley Transit's Administrative Office, 801 S. Whitman Ave., Appleton (located on Rt 2 - Prospect). For appointments at the Transit Center, 100 E. Washington St., call 832-5800 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.  Only weekday appointments will be accepted.

Bring your bike to appointment. A Valley Transit member will provide training on the bus-bike rack system and place an approved decal on your bike, authorizing the use of the bus-bike rack.  You will receive your Rack-N-Roll certification card upon completion of training.

For further information review the Rack-N-Roll Rules and Regulations brochure.
