Friday, Sept. 23 RIDE FREE starting at 3:45PM on all buses courtesy Teamsters Local 563.Most Valley Transit buses transfer at the downtown Appleton
Transit Center located at 100 E. Washington (next to the Appleton
Public Library). The Transit Center is a convenient walk to all the
College Avenue festivities.

Octoberfest
Saturday,
September 24, 2004, RIDE FREE all day courtesy Money Saver Community
Savings Magazine. Valley Transit will offer half-hourly service (similar to
weekday peaks) from 9:45 AM to 5:45 PM with hourly service
continuing after 5:45 PM until 10:30 PM.

Park 'N Ride lots
Plus, Saturday only, shuttle buses will be available so you can park and ride from Appleton East High, Goodwill Industries on Appleton Rd./Hwy 47 in Menasha, Valley Packaging on Roemer Rd. & Cty OO in North Appleton and the Fox Valley Technical College. Passengers should wait by the Valley Transit bus shelters near the Park ‘N Ride lots.

Appleton
East High School Express shuttles as well as both routes 9
- East College & 8
- Telulah will serve both the John and Schaefer street
sides. Please note: Route 8 - Telulah is the quickest route
downtown. Route 9 will be the quickest route back to this
parking lot. |
Goodwill
Industries (Highway 47 & Valley Road in Menasha). A
shelter is located along Hwy 47. This lot will be served by Route
1A - Midway |

Fox
Valley Technical College (Bluemound just south of
Northland/Cty OO).
Passengers can catch the bus at the shelter located in the front
of the building. This lot will be served by an express shuttle
and Route 12 - FVTC. |
Valley
Packaging - 2730 N. Roemer Rd (Just south of Northland/OO,
one street East of Ballard). Passengers can catch the bus at the
shelter located in front of the building. This lot will be
served by Route 7 -
Ballard. The bus will serve the shelter in front of this
location on the hour and the 1/2 hour. After 5:45PM, at :30
minutes after the hour only. |

Stroller
Limitations: Due to space limitations, only
umbrella strollers will be allowed on VT buses. Children must be removed prior to boarding and strollers must be folded. Large strollers including double strollers will not be allowed.
Passengers arriving with double strollers or larger
strollers will not be allowed to board. We
apologize for the inconvenience. |
