If
youre looking for a great way to travel around the Fox
Valley with a class or organized group of kids, Valley Transit
has your answer! Kids On The Go can travel at a reduced rate
of just $0.50 when riding in supervised groups of 6 to 28 riders (including adult chaperones).
Although
Valley Transit cannot offer charter service, we encourage you
to give the bus a try for local trips that are accessible from
our bus routes. If your class, daycare, Cub Scout troop, or
other organized group of kids is planning a field trip, Kids
on the go may give you the transportation you need.

(At least one adult fare
must be paid to receive the reduced fare of $.50 per child). |
|
Because
it is important for the bus to stay on schedule, we ask that
the fares be collected prior to boarding and placed in the
farebox by one of the adult chaperones on the trip.
Each
time you board, tell your driver how many riders you have and
place the money in the farebox. Round trips should be paid in
two parts once at the start of the initial trip and again
at the start of the return trip.
Fares
may be paid in cash or by check. (Make checks payable to: City
of Appleton) |

Transfers |
|
If
the group will be transferring to another bus to complete a
one-way trip, please ask for a transfer when boarding the
first bus. The driver will give one transfer for the group,
noting the group size on the transfer. This transfer can be
used to board your connecting bus for free.
