| American Flag Disposal |
|
As American flags become worn or damaged, it becomes important for their disposal to be proper and dignified. |

| Appliance Tags |
|
Appliance tags, grass cards, tire tags and overflow tags are available at the following locations. |

| Appliances |
|
All major appliances require a disposal tag. Collection is weekly on garbage day. |

| Carpet |
|
Carpet is collected every other week at the curb on your garbage day opposite recycling. |
|
| Construction Materials |
|
Construction Materials generated by a contractor should be disposed of by the contractor. |

| Extra Garbage Bags |
|
Extra garbage bags that would normally fit into the City supplied garbage container need tags. |

| Garbage Collection |
|
Garbage collection is done weekly from City supplied garbage carts. |

Your Holiday Recycling Collection may not be on the same day as Holiday Garbage Collection. Dates affected are listed below. For dates not listed, follow the regular (non holiday) schedule. |

| Large Item Overflow |
|
Items that are too large to fit into your garbage can can be placed out for collection every other week. |

| Lumber |
|
Lumber is collected every other week at the curb on your garbage day opposite recycling. |

| Medical Sharps |
|
Medical sharps under Wisconsin law, sharps must be treated before disposal. |

| Overflow Collection |
|
Large item collection will be held every other week on your regular garbage day opposite your recycling week. |

| Paint |
|
Latex based paint cans maybe put in your garbage container after lids are removed and the paint has dried out. |

| Prescription Medication |
|
Prescription drugs and other medicines may be brought to the City of Appleton Police Station. |
