The Appleton Parks and Recreation Department sponsors many fun-filled special events throughout the year.

Winter/Spring events include: Winter and spring break activities such as free ice skating at the Appleton Family Ice Center, Holiday Open Gym and Open Swim times, and special warming shelter hours at the outdoor ice/hockey rinks and sledding hills. Join us for our Hockey Challenge in December and the Winter Water Carnival in January! 

Summer special events include: Ice Cream Socials and the Kids All American Fishing Derby in June, the Playground Fair in July, and On the Hill outdoor movies in August.

Fall special events include the Halloween Splash Bash.
