Appleton West High School has closed West Pool until July. All swim lessons, open swim, lap swim, water walking and Swimnastics sessions are canceled until further notice.

                               LITTLE THEATRE         

Auditions for the Attic Theatre’s/Appleton Parks and Recreation Department’s summer production “Story Theatre” are scheduled for May 19 and 20, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 100 N. Drew Street. “Story Theatre” is a classic Tony Award winning play that retells several well-known stories from the Brothers Grimm and Aesop’s Fables.

Children in grades 3 through 8 are invited to try out. Those who wish to audition should prepare to read either a poem of their choice or a short scene selection that can be picked up a the Appleton or Neenah Public Library’s reference desks. Resident online registration begins April 16, in person and mail-in registration begins April 23 at 8:00 a.m. and non-resident registration begins April 30 at 8:00 a.m.
