Both
sites accept grass clippings, brush, yard waste, and motor oil.
There are two brush piles at the sites, one for brush 4” or
less, and another for brush larger than 4” in diameter. Both sites
have chipped mulching material available to residents at no cost.
Attendants are available for questions.
The Municipal Service Building Yard Waste
Site is a full customer service center and is available to all City
of Appleton residents (non commercial use only). In addition to the
items above, antifreeze, metal, appliances, concrete, tires, car
batteries, and refuse can be brought to the Glendale Avenue site
during operating hours. See the site attendant before dropping off
any of the above-mentioned items. Please tarp or secure loads taken
to the yard waste sties. Branches and debris that fall onto the road
are a safety hazard.
Please
be prepared to show proof of residency to the attendant.

yard waste sites DO NOT accept DIRT, SOD, PROPANE TANKS or HAZARDOUS
