CUMMINGS, GLEN L. - Glen was a police officer from July 1918 through May 1919.  He was born in Monticello, Marquette County, WI on 04/22/1893.  His wife, Elizabeth Louise Rippenhagen was born in Greenville, WI on 12/21/1891.  Their daughter, Marie Ellen, was born on 09/12/1916.  Glen's address when he was hired was 962 College Avenue and he was last listed in the City of Appleton directory in 1919.  His father, Albert, was born in May 1842 and his mother, Ellen, was born in October 1856.

HEMENWAY, WILLIAM W. - William was a police officer from January 1921 through March 1921.  He was born in 1890 in Richland, Center County, WI.  His wife, Laura H. Lemke, was born in 1894 in the Town of Ellington, WI.  Their daughter, Lucile Alice, was born 03/12/1919.  William's address in 1919 was 663 Rankin Street and he was last listed in the City of Appleton directory in 1941.

MAACK, JOHN C. - John was a police officer from June 1912 through March 1917.  He was born on 04/23/1885 in Bloomer, Chippewa County, WI.  His wife, Ellen E. Zimmerman, was born on 08/16/1891 in Milwaukee, WI.  John also served on the Appleton Fire Dept from May 1918 through July 1920.  John had three brothers: Charles Maack, Edward Maack, and Fred Maack.

NELSON, EDWARD W. - Edward was a police officer from March 1913 through November 1914.  He was born 04/13/1888.  His wife, Irene L. Neff, was born 07/08/1892.  They had two daughters, Elaine I. (DOB: 01/02/1911) and Evelyn D. (DOB: 05/02/1912).  One of his daughters was living in Pelican, WI in September 1916.  Edward had a brother, William C. Nelson, who was living in Klondyke, Alaska in November 1916.

SCHWALBACH, JOHN - John was a police officer from April 1910 through November 1914.  He was born 02/05/1871 in Outagamie County.  His wife, Hazel L. Voss, was born 04/19/1884 and they married 08/07/1911.  John also served on the Appleton Fire Dept from January 1906 through April 1910.  His father, John F. Schwalbach, died on 09/16/1909.
