Firearms Instructor
APD firearms instructors, under the
direction of Lt. Mike Gostisha, establish handgun, shotgun and rifle training/qualification
programs for the Department, maintains records of that training, and
ensures adequate firearms supplies. Training programs include
instruction pertaining to the appropriate use of deadly force, as
well as hands on firearms qualifications.
