Operations
Coordination
The Operations Coordination Unit is
responsible for coordinating the many special events that occur in
the City of Appleton throughout the year. The unit works
closely with other City departments to ensure the visitors and
citizens of Appleton are provided a safe atmosphere to celebrate and
enjoy the special events that they attend.
Additionally, the Operations
Coordinator oversees the abandoned vehicle program, the Emergency
Operations Center, terrorism/emergency preparedness, traffic
safety/specialized enforcement, towing services, and the hiring of
off-duty officers by private and public agencies and businesses.
