Updated detour information

Bus Stop?

Bus Stops & Timepoints?

Valley Transit buses pick up and drop off riders at blue Valley Transit bus stop signs and at red stop signs located along a route. Buses will not pick-up or drop off passengers at stop lights, unless marked with a blue Valley Transit bus stop sign.

Click here to view specific Valley Transit routes or you can view the system map to determine which route(s) will work best for you. Each route shows the location of individual bus stops and certain points of interest along the way.

Transit Centers & Shelters?

To make your wait as comfortable as possible, Valley Transit has two major transfer locations. These are heated structures with seating and other amenities. The Transit Centers are located at Washington & Oneida Streets in Appleton and at Doty & Church Streets in Neenah.

About 40 bus shelters provide shelter and seating at some heavily used bus stops along the routes. In general, they are located at stops serving public buildings. Several shelters available to Valley Transit riders belong to other organizations. All Valley Transit shelters are marked with the Valley Transit logo.

What Time Does the Bus Pass My Stop?

Valley Transit has designated certain bus stops as "Timepoints". Timepoints help determine what time a bus will pass a certain point along the route.

In order to determine when the bus will pass your specific stop, locate the timepoint before your stop and use this time when planning your trip. Make sure you arrive at your bus stop a little early...the departure times along the route are close but may not be exact.

The timepoints for each route can be viewed by visiting the maps and timetables page.

What Time Does the Bus leave the Transit Center?

Even numbered routes leave their Transfer point* at :45 minutes after the hour. Additional service is available during peak hours. (e.g. Routes 2, 4, 6, 12, etc)

Odd numbered routes leave at : 15 minutes after the hour. Additional service is available during peak hours. (e.g. Routes 1, 3, 5, 15, etc)

*The transfer point for Routes 31, 32 and 41 is the downtown Neenah Transit Center. The transfer point for all remaining routes is the downtown Appleton Transit Center.
