On November 15th, 2006 Connie Boelter was found to be deceased in her duplex on the north side of Appleton near Memorial Park. The subsequent investigation revealed that she was the victim of a homicide. Connie was 56 years old at the time of her death and lived alone. She worked at the Wolf River Savings and Loan in Hortonville. Connie was described as a soft spoken, kind and compassionate woman whose life revolved around her family and her grandchildren’s events.
