Community Resource Unit

CRU is a combination of officers and civilians previously assigned to the Community Intervention Team, and the Community Liaison Office. Through this coordination of resources, CRU offers a two-tiered approach toward protecting the interests and welfare of citizens and visitors of the City of Appleton.

CRU also has a strong problem-solving component that is committed to the identification and resolution of issues that arise in the community. Examples of this approach include:
  • Crime Free Housing and Abatement initiatives
