A Unified Tactical Instructor certification is a State of Wisconsin certification that provides training as an instructor in any of these areas:- DAAT (Defense And Arrest Tactics)
- EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operation Control)
- Firearms
- Hazardous Materials
- Professional Communication
- Tactical Response
- Vehicle Contacts
The Appleton Police Department is fortunate to have a number of certified instructors who regularly instruct their fellow officers in: DAAT, EVOC, and Firearms.
