Playground Fair
Join us at our Playground Fair as part of “Children’s Week” in Appleton. This is the BIGGEST Parks and Recreation Department special event of the year!! Our energetic Playground Leaders and local businesses/organizations sponsor two fun-filled days of carnival games, the trackless train, new and exciting inflatables, outdoor movie, great food and entertainment. Visit the prize redemption center and cash in your tickets for fun prizes to take home with you! If you are interested in volunteering, becoming a sponsor for the event or for more information, call 832-3925.
LOCATION: Pierce Park
DATES: Thursday, July 26 - 2:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 27 - 2:00-8:00 p.m.
**Friday only from 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. we will open the Fair for families with children with special needs**
FEE: $5.00 = 1 wristband* & 1 punchcard** $2.00 = 1 punchcard**
*The wristband allows for unlimited use of all inflatable rides/attractions and attractions during the two-day fair; must have for inflatable use.
**One (1) punchcard allows the holder the ability to play up to 10 carnival games; punchcard may not be used for inflatable rides/attractions.
AGES: All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend!
A Night at the Oscars / Ice Cream Social
Come and join us at Pierce Park as our summer playground participants and leaders showcase their Oscar winning performances they will have worked on throughout the summer. This is a great opportunity to get to know the Playground Leaders and neighbors at the park or school site nearest you and meet other families. Our annual Ice Cream Social will also be taking place at this time so come out and enjoy the fun!!

Family Track & Field Tailgate Party
Mark your calendar for Thursday evening, July 19th and get ready to participate in this NEW family fun event. Families will come out and take part in playground games, track & field events (such as the discus throw with paper plates and fun family relays), and enjoy great tailgate food! This event is sure to be an active adventure for all who come to participate! This event is run by the
Appleton Playground Program Staff.
