COME AND ZUMBA WITH US!
Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: we want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to get hooked. You will achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting class of calorie-burning and body-energizing movements meant to captivate you for life!

Zumba Gold is the lower impact, easy-to-follow, Latin inspired dance fitness-party that keeps you in the groove of your life. If you are an active older adult, the beginner participant or other special population that may need modifications for success, this is your class!

Purchase a punch card or just drop in at Zumba! Teens and adults are invited to join the fun! Zumba Gold is designed for active older adults ages 45+. Wear tennis shoes and light weight clothing. Purchase punch cards at the APRD or from your instructor at class. Punch cards are valid for eight (8) classes and have 6-month expiration date.

Location: City Center Plaza, second floor studios,
100 N. Appleton. St. in downtown City Center Plaza
Park on the street, in the East ($1.00 per day) or City Center Ramps (metered)


Class descriptions:
Zumba ( 60 minutes) - A fusion of Latin and international music and dance moves that create a dynamic, exciting and effective fitness program! Combine fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt your body while burning calories and having tons of fun!

Zumba Gold (60 minutes) is great for active older adults and those seeking out a slower paced version of our regular Zumba classes.

What to wear? Work out clothes that are easy to move in and that you won’t over heat. Jazz/yoga pants, tee shirt, and clean tennis shoes are acceptable.

What to bring? A water bottle and small towel. Don’t forget your drop in fee if you are not registered.

How do I sign up? Just drop in! Zumba participants pay as you go or purchase a punchcard!

Who are the instructors?
Jennifer B. is certified to teach Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba-tomic and Aqua Zumba. When Jen teaches Zumba, she really likes to get into the mood and shake it! Jen invites you to "shake" with her in class, have fun and sweat it up!

Maria D. is a certified Zumba and Zumba Gold instructor. She brings her own Latin flavor and accent to the program. “You are gonna love Zumba!”

Lynn G. is a certified Zumba, aqua Zumba and Zumbatomic instructor. Lynn will Zumba everyday if she can!

Classes are held at Studio 2, second floor of the City Center. Wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes, bring a water bottle, and be prepared to have a fun workout to Latin style music.

Classes meet weekly on a drop in basis, $8.00 per class, or $40.00 for 8 class punch card. Come and Zumba with us!

No Wednesday night or Friday Gold Classes June, July or August.

First class is always FREE or special “TRY IT” FREE CLASSES ARE JUNE 9-13 AND SEPT 6-12, 2012.

10:05-11:05 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays in Studio 2 after Zumba
Increase your strength in your overall BODY focusing on your Buttocks, Legs, Abs, Shoulders, and Thighs (Body Blast!) through this non-cardio workout. Tighten up those flabby arms and feel better as your waist band loosens while working out with Jen. Participants use stretch bands and light weights (provided). Drop in, $8.00, 8 class punch card $40.00, first class is free! Attend Zumba at 9-10:00 a.m. and use a 1/2 punch to attend Body Blast on your punch card or drop-in of $12.00 for both!
