Next class session: September 16 - November 18th; 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Application period is closed for this class. Class is full. Watch for details to apply for the next Academy to be held in 2011.

Class size is limited. If you are not accepted into this year's academy, you will be put on a waiting list for next year!

The Public Safety Citizen’s Academy provides a glimpse of law enforcement and the life of a firefighter through tours, presentations and many interactive activities.

The Academy will be held primarily at the Police Station (222 S. Walnut Street), and Fire Station 6 (4930 N. Lightning Drive).

The Academy was created to provide information to the citizens of our community about the Police and Fire Departments and the work they do.

The Academy is held once each year, is free of charge and open to all citizens who either live or work in the City of Appleton. You must be at least 17 years of age or older to apply/participate.

This is a community offering and there is no charge. Registration is required. Class size is limited.
