The USA Youth Sports Complex is managed by the United Sports Association for Youth (USA Youth), a non-profit organization run by a 12-member Board of Directors, including representatives from the Appleton Soccer Club, Appleton Babe Ruth Baseball and Appleton Little League. USA Youth leases 80 acres of parkland from the City of Appleton for the sports complex that includes 15 soccer fields, two (2) Little League diamonds and two (2) Babe Ruth diamonds. USA Youth is responsible for the management and operations of the entire complex.
The mission of USA Youth is to nurture and develop the youth of the community through participation in team sports. To accomplish this the organization will: 1) build and operate a multi-purpose sports complex to provide opportunities for area youth to participate in team sports; 2) support and promote youth sports programs where competitors are involved in organized, adult supervised activities; 3) instill in youth and families the essential qualities of teamwork and sportsmanship, as well as pride in themselves and their community.
The vision of USA Youth is to be recognized as the premier youth sports complex in Wisconsin, operating as a non-profit, self sustaining volunteer organization, embraced and supported by the community and especially its member organizations.
USA Youth is considered one of the finest youth sports facilities in the state, regularly hosting state, regional and national championship games. Operations rely heavily on volunteers, as soccer and baseball fields are maintained by USA Youth’s three member sports organizations.
