The City of Appleton Stormwater Utility Annual ERU (Equivalent Runoff Unit) increased to $125.00 on July 1, 2010. This rate increase of 14.8% was approved as part of the 2010 Budget. The previous annual ERU rate of $108.88 was effective on March 1, 2006.
This rate increase was needed to fund operations costs as well as capital projects to meet the needs of the City’s NR216 Stormwater Management Permit. Recent projects include construction of ponds near Conkey Road, Pershing/HWY 441 and in Memorial Park.
