SAFETY TOWN:
A one-week course that teaches children bike, pedestrian, school bus, fire and seat belt safety, and how to make a 911 call. They are also instructed on when, where and how to cross the street. Hands-on education is created by a working traffic signal, miniature buildings and an outdoor riding course in the child-sized Safety Town. Each student is provided with a three-wheeled trike that is specially designed for young riders. Students are required to bring their own bike helmet. Parents are welcome to participate and are invited to attend on Friday for graduation.
