Voting Information

In-person absentee voting in the City of Appleton begins October 20 and runs through October 31. Voting takes place in the City Clerk's office located on the sixth floor of City Hall at 100 N. Appleton St. Appleton, WI 54911. Voting hours are from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. On October 30 and 31, voting hours will be extended to 5:00 p.m.

You do not need a photo ID to vote, but if you need to register to vote, you will be required to do so in-person at the City Clerk’s office. You will need to provide proof of residence in order to register.

Voter Registration Application

The last day for electors to register by mail to vote in the General Election is Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Mailed registrations must be postmarked no later than this date. After this date, electors must register in person in the Clerk's office through Friday, October 31st, OR can wait to register at the polls on Election Day. There is no registration Saturday, Sunday, or Monday preceding the election pursuant to the Photo Voter Identification Legislation.
