Fares & Purchasing Tickets


All riders on Valley Transit II must pay a fare, except for a necessary care attendant. In addition to one necessary care attendant, a certified rider may be accompanied by one non-certified person riding as a guest or companion. A $3.60 fare is required from a guest or companion.

Sheets of 10 Basic or 10 Premium Valley Transit II tickets can be purchased from Valley Transit ticket sales outlets, or by mail from Valley Transit.

Sheets of 10 Basic tickets are $36 per sheet. Sheets of 10 Premium tickets are $60 per sheet. Riders must have the exact change to purchase tickets from drivers.


One-Way Fares as of Jan. 1, 2009:
Monday - Saturday, Basic ......$3.60
Monday - Saturday, Premium............$6.00

Sunday Service**..........................$11.00

**Reminder: Weekend service is available to ADA Cardholders only. Passengers can use a combination of cash and tickets or cash only for Sunday trips.
