MAINTENANCE SERVICES:
Production Services
These services are provided to maintain; operate and repair the mechanical, electrical and structural/architectural systems.
Carpentry
Maintain, repair and install a variety of carpentry related projects including; sheetrock and plaster, ceilings, concrete, hardware, access doors, overhead doors, windows, insulation, roofing, flooring, siding, all wall systems, and interior and exterior paint.
Custodial Services
Provide full service custodial responsibilities including all cleaning and sanitation necessary to provide an environmentally safe work place for our customers and the public.
Electrical
Install, maintain, and repair all interior and exterior facility electrical wiring systems. Electrical systems include any: fixtures, conduit, electrical equipment, emergency generators, motors, panels, and circuit breakers.
Elevator
Provide preventive and routine inspections to elevators and wheel-chair lifts. Ensure permits are maintained and kept up to date.
Fire Protection
Provide repair and maintenance of fire protection systems including smoke & heat detectors, sprinkler systems, fire panels, pull stations, fire extinguishers and alarm monitoring.
Furniture
Provide repair and maintenance of furniture including freestanding furniture, chairs and panel & systems furniture.
Grounds
Provide care of lawns, plants, shrubs, trees, parking lots and gutters. Parking lots and sidewalks are kept clear of debris. In addition, snow and ice are cleared from lots during the winter months.
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
Provide installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Services include; diagnostics and repair; pneumatic and direct digital controls (DDC), computerized graphic control of HVAC system operations; plumbing; refrigeration systems; sheet metal work; and welding.
Lighting Maintenance
Change light bulbs, clean lenses, and fixtures, and also provide building wide group re-lamping when needed.
Locksmith
Manage the installation and maintenance of a variety of locks and lock systems, and provide key duplication.
Pest Control
Contract for routine and special pest control services for most City buildings. Insects and rodents are the most common pests citywide. Some pests such as ants, bees and fleas are seasonal.
Plumbing
Provides full service repair and installation of all supply and drainage systems. Includes sinks, water closets, drinking fountains, appliances, HVAC related plumbing, fire protection, backflow prevention and much more.
Security
Provide security by using lock and card access technologies to protect the City assets. Security procedures and standards have been established.
Window Cleaning
Scheduled to have windows cleaned on a regular basis where applicable.
