Field Evidence Technicians (ID Techs) are officers who have received specialized training in processing crime scenes, to include:- recovery of latent fingerprints
- photography
- crime scene sketches
- collection and preservation of physical evidence
These officers have received this specialized training on a basic level, to assist the two full-time ID Technicians.
