The City of Appleton City Attorney's Office only provides advice and counsel to the City of Appleton and does not handle private matters for the general public. If you need to consult an attorney or address a particular problem, here is a list of resources:

Consumer Complaints / Consumer Protection / Cable Issues
If you have a consumer complaint or question, please contact the Consumer Office Hotline, toll free, at 1-800-422-7128. If you have questions about cable, please see the attached flyer.

The District Attorney's Office prosecutes all criminal matters. For information or questions about matters handled by the District Attorney in your county, please contact:

Legal Advice / Representation
Advice or information concerning private or personal matters may be obtained through the State Bar of Wisconsin Lawyer Referral and Information Service which can be reached by calling 1-800-362-9082.

Legal Action (formerly Legal Services)
Those persons who meet certain eligibility criteria relating to their income may qualify for legal assistance through Legal Action of Wisconsin. For more information, please call:
