Youth Assets
As a community we must
ensure that our youth not only survive, but also develop those
competencies, connections, character and confidence they will need
to contribute to a complex world. We must engage our youth not
only as beneficiaries, but also as participants and problem-solvers.
As a community we must empower our youth by involving them in the
community, from early on, so that they grow up knowing that they are
valued.
This website includes
information on initiatives taking place in our community that
support the development of our youth, as well as, recognizing our
youth for their contribution in not only their own development, but
to the quality of life of their community.
