Parks and
Recreation Committee
Jurisdiction
- The Parks and Recreation
Committee shall have jurisdiction over the Parks and Recreation
Department and Reid Municipal Golf Course. It shall be the duty
of this Committee to study all resolutions referred to it and
confer with the Director of Parks and Recreation to maintain and
develop the City park system, provide forestry and turf
maintenance services and to provide leisure services, including
the operation of Reid Municipal Golf Course, to the residents of
the City of Appleton. The Director of Parks and Recreation or
his designee shall attend all Parks and Recreation Committee
meetings in an advisory capacity.

Committee meets WEDNESDAY of the week following Council, at 6:00
p.m., in Committee Room 6A.
