Administrative Services Committee

Jurisdiction

  • The Administrative Services Committee shall have jurisdiction over the Departments of the Human Resources, City Assessor, Finance, City Attorney, and Information Services, budgets, education, legislative matters, rebates, claims, insurance, policy matters involving personnel, labor relations, employee compensation and benefits, over any request to fill vacant positions or to change a Table of Organization within the city and the central equipment agency (CEA) advisory committee. It shall be the duty of this Committee to audit and act on all demands, claims and actions against the City. This Committee shall study all resolutions referred to it and shall confer with the department heads under its jurisdiction. The Director of Finance or designee shall attend all Administrative Services Committee meetings in an advisory capacity. The Director of Finance shall also be a member of the CEA advisory committee.

  • The members of the Administrative Services Committee are:  Alderperson Edward Baranowski (Chair); Alderperson Earl Brooker (Vice-Chair); Alderperson Curt Konetzke; Alderperson James Clemons, Alderperson George W. Holzknecht.

Meetings

  • The Administrative Services Committee meets WEDNESDAY of the week following Council, at 5:00 p.m., in Committee Room 6A.
