Man Arrested for Battery to an 80 Year-Old Man in McDonald’s Parking Lot (posted March 5, 2012)
Appleton Police Officers were dispatched to the McDonald’s Restaurant parking lot, 700 W. Northland Avenue, on March 3rd, 2012, at approximately 10:00 AM for what was initially reported as a medical call. Upon arrival, officers learned that a disputed had occurred between an 80 year-old Appleton man and a 31 year-old Kaukauna man.
Officers learned that the Kaukauna man had parked in a walkway leading up to the restaurant. As the Kaukauna man was backing out, the Appleton man pointed to the ground, noting the stripping on the pavement. The Kaukauna man exited his vehicle, began swearing at the Appleton man, then pushed him, causing him to fall and strike his head.
The Appleton man (victim) was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Kaukauna man, Theodore Krueger, was arrested for Aggravated Battery and Disorderly Conduct. Krueger was confined at the Outagamie County Jail.
