Since 2002, The Appleton Health Department has engaged in training, planning, and exercising to prepare for and respond to public health emergencies. The health department collaborates with local, regional, and state partners.
The health department maintains and updates the Public Health Emergency Plan (PHEP), trains staff on emergency preparedness and response, and exercises current plans. The health department also collaborates with Emergency Management to review and update the City's Emergency Operations Plan.
