The GIS Team provides Geographic Information Services and mapping support for the City of Appleton. This includes creating, maintaining and updating graphic data and customized programs to eliminate redundancy in the storage and retrieval of maps and other geographic information used by the City.
The GIS Team is also charged with developing and administering policies and procedures relating to access and utilization of the system, as well as providing user support and training in the use of the system.
