Investigators Seek Information on Vehicle Linked to Boelter Homicide

Post Date:05/05/2016 11:05 AM

Appleton investigators continue to work toward closure of their investigation into Connie Boelter’s homicide from November 15, 2006.  Today, they are asking the public to come forward with any recollection they may have of a vehicle possibly related to the incident.

Investigators are interested in information related to a four door, 1996 Ford Taurus, dark green in color; seen repeatedly in the area of Connie Boelter’s residence in the time leading up to her murder.  Information on times the vehicle was seen in the area, who was seen operating the vehicle or riding in the vehicle are important to the detectives.

The vehicle in question was also issued a parking ticket in Menasha; during the early morning hours around the time of Connie’s murder. When ticketed, the vehicle was on 1st Street, between Racine Street and Milwaukee Streets.  Investigators would like to know why the vehicle was in the area and who the operator may have been visiting.

Two photos of a similar vehicle are attached to the release and available on Appleton Police Department social media sites.
