Police Seek Assistance in Identifying Vehicle Used in Robbery
The Appleton Police Department continues to investigate a series of armed robberies occurring in the city during the past month. One of those robberies took place at the Walgreens store, in the 700 block of W. Northland Avenue, on the morning of January 13, 2016. Investigators believe the robbery suspect fled from the area in a green, 4-door, Ford Taurus. The vehicle is thought to be of the 1996-1999 style of the Taurus. It does not have a rear spoiler.
The suspect for the Walgreens incident is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall with a large/heavy build.
The Appleton Police Department is also announcing a reward of up to $500 for information leading to the arrest of any individual involved in the recent string of robberies.
