Assessor's Office staff taking exterior photos of homes

If you live on the south side of Appleton city staff may soon be taking a new picture of your house.

Once every 10 years property photos are updated for our city databases. Those photos are used by various departments including Community and Economic Development and Public Works.

In addition, the photos are available to the public and the real estate industry through our My Neighborhood app.

City employees taking the pictures will be in marked City of Appleton vehicles and will have city issued identification and business cards.

The pictures will be taken now through December 31 during normal working hours.

City employees will not be asking for access inside homes and will take the photos from the street, not on private property.
